It is a recognized center by the American Heart Association and conducts regular training programs on AHA Basic and advanced life support. It is supported by a strong army of instructors for conducting these programs. Hands on training is provided on delivering high quality CPR and use of an AED. They are also trained on managing Foreign Body Airway obstruction in all age groups. Also the students learn airway management skills, use of manual defibrillator, medications, treating the potential reversible causes of cardiac arrest and Post resuscitation care. Team dynamics is an important component of this training.
