The National Reference Simulation Centre (NRSC) successfully conducted two, one-day training programs for nursing students of Government College of Nursing, Safidon, Jind on 5th and 28th August 2025. Training focused on strengthening emergency response through simulation-based learning and hands-on practice on BLS. On 5th August, 64 participants engaged in Basic Life Support (BLS), choking management, and BLS simulation scenarios, supported by pre- and post-OSCE assessments. On 28th August, 58 participants along with one faculty member took part in similar skill-based and simulation sessions with OSCE evaluations, working in smaller groups to ensure personalized learning and teamwork. Feedback across both programs was overwhelmingly positive, with participants describing the training as practical, engaging, and confidence-building. These initiatives highlight the power of simulation-based education in preparing future healthcare professionals with the competence, confidence, and readiness to handle real-world emergencies effectively.
