6-days training of trainers on 11/12/2023 to 16/12/2023.

𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 (𝐍𝐑𝐒𝐂) organized 6-days training of trainers on simulation-based education in collaboration of Indian Nursing Council from 11/12/2023 to 16/12/2023.

The guest and participants were welcomed by Ms. Anu Grover, Director NRSC, Ms. Usha Yadav, Course Director and team. Inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr T Dileep Kumar President INC on 1st day of training. Thirty (30) faculty members from government and private nursing institutes of Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Kerala, Chattisgarh & Meghalay attended the training. 

The 6-days training started with a pre-test and included PPT presentations on the circle of learning, adult learning techniques, Characteristic of trainers, use of a checklist and OSCE, Decision making, introduction to simulation and video sessions importance of checklist, assumptions, concept and scope of nursing and video – based simulation.

Participants received hands-on practice on the use of checklist & OSCE, Case studies and advocacy inquiry in different groups. Participants conducted simulation sessions independently under the guidance of NRSC trainers from Day 4 to 6. It was followed by a discussion on action planning, Post-test and collecting feedback on the training.

The training was concluded with a valedictory session where certificates were distributed by NRSC team following participants feedback.
