Onsite Skill Standardization and Simulation Training on 28/11/2023 – 02/12/2023

The 21st batch of five days, “𝗢𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝐒𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝐒𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝐓𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴” for capacity building of Midwifery faculty in India was conducted at National Reference Simulation Centre, organized by Indian Nursing Council in collaboration with UNFPA from 28.11.2023- 02.12.2023.

Ms. Shalu, Course Director and team NRSC addressed the participants during the inauguration. Thirty participants from private and Government institutes of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, kerala, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu, states of India participated in the training at NRSC, SGT University. Participants attended ppt sessions, video sessions, midwifery and new born skill demonstrations and simulation in these 5 days followed by hands-on skills and simulation under guidance of the facilitators. Pre- and post-OSCE was conducted to evaluate the skills.

On the last day, participants gave feedback where they highly appreciated the training, felt empowered with the skills upgrade and were confident to impart the essential midwifery skills to their students. Ms. Anu Grover, Director, NRSC with their team addressed the gathering and the training was concluded with the certificate distribution in the valedictory session.
